The whimsy of an anthropomorphized inanimate object provides engaging escapism as soon as you see it. I love playing with this concept, creating ironic imagery, attributing personalities to items that come in multiple variants, and placing those objects into real world contexts.
I built the concept and did the creative direction for the beverage-Olympics series and by integrating our brand/product into the globally-captivating Olympic broadcasts that our fans undoubtedly were exposed to daily, we saw boosts in engagement and more reshares of our social posts.
As a history lover and nostalgiaphile, I love drawing inspiration from decades past, retro trends, old technology systems, and iconic cultural moments & objects.
Applying vintage concepts to something current and making it feel fresh AND feel on-brand, AND to make it still feel original is the most fun sort of challenge--and when done well and with attention to detail, it's a piece of content with wide generational appeal.
